Komarevtseva Iryna Oleksandrivna was born on September 1, 1959 in the city of Luhansk. In 1980 she graduated from Voroshilovgrad Medical Institute with a degree in medicine with honors. 1982-1985 - Postgraduate student of Voroshilovgrad State Medical Institute. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine sent for dissertation work to the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR (Moscow). 1985-1989 - Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, Luhansk Medical Institute. From 1989 to 2005 - Director of the Research Center of Luhansk State Medical University (since 1997 - part-time). Since 1997 - Head of the Department of Medical Chemistry, Luhansk State Medical University. From July 1, 2005 to May 2007, She was the head of the Health Department of the Luhansk Regional State Administration. From December 2014 to the following time - Vice-Rector for Research at the Luhansk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, evacuated to Rubizhne (Ukraine). She defended her Ph.D thesis in 1986 at the University of Friendship of Peoples named after P. Lumumba (Moscow). She defended her doctoral dissertation in 1992 at the Military Medical Academy (St. Petersburg). The academic title of senior researcher was awarded in 1992. The academic title of professor was awarded in 1996. Qualification medical certification - a certificate of a specialist doctor - narcologist. She has the highest category in the organization and management of health care (since 2006). General experience (scientific and pedagogical) work - 33 years, work experience at Luhansk State Medical University - 33 years; Director of the Research Center of Lug State Medical University - 16 years. Under the guidance of Professor Komarevtseva IO 5 doctoral and 22 candidate dissertations were completed and defended. Subsequently, under the guidance of Professor Komarevtseva IO 4 doctoral and 6 candidate dissertations are being completed. Author of 181 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 1 copyright certificate and 7 Patents of Ukraine. For 20 years - scientific supervisor of competitive state budget research papers of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Since 1997 - Chairman of the Eastern Branch of the Ukrainian Biochemical Society; member of the Central Council of the Ukrainian Biochemical Society; member of the European Biochemical Society (FEBS). Professor Komarevtseva IO - Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal "Ukrainian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Medicine". From 2004 to 2010 - worked as an expert of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine of the Expert Council of Medical, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences. For her fruitful work in the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine she was thanked by the Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine in 2011.
