REMINDS THE IMPORTANCE OF COVID-19 VACCINATION

All information about vaccines can be found at: https://vaccination.covid19.gov.ua

The only absolute permanent contraindication to vaccination with a particular vaccine is an anaphylactic reaction to the first dose of this vaccine. In this case, the patient will be advised to be vaccinated against COVID-19 with another vaccine, provided it is available. If a patient is allergic to one of the components of the COVID-19 vaccine, they should also be vaccinated with another vaccine.

Temporary contraindications include:

- acute diseases with fever above 38.0°C.

- treatment with monoclonal antibodies or convalescent plasma.

- introduction of vaccines against other infectious diseases.

Vaccination against COVID-19 should be given 14 days after the introduction of the vaccine against other infectious diseases; the influenza vaccine can be vaccinated on the same day as the vaccination against COVID-19 but in different hands.

- being ill with COVID-19 which is written in the anamnesis.

Vaccination may be delayed for 3 months from the time of being ill with COVID-19 or carried out earlier, but not earlier than 28 days from the first day of symptoms or laboratory confirmation of the diagnosis.

WARNING! CoronaVac from Sinovac Biotech is contraindicated for pregnant women.

You can sign up for vaccination by contacting your family doctor, making an appointment at the nearest vaccination point or contacting the dean’s office and a mobile vaccination team will be organized for you!
