HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT AFTER 2014
Department of Neurology and Family Medicine
A new stage in the life of the department began in December 2014 with the relocation of LDMU to Rubizhne due to the difficult military-political situation in Luhansk region.
The department combines both in the name and in the content of work in the fields of neurology and general practice - family medicine and in the diploma training of specialists, and in the postgraduate educational - methodical process.
In a difficult time of new formation, the Department of Neurology and Family Medicine was headed by Doctor of Medicine, Professor Igor Volodymyrovych Romanenko.
Doctor of Medicine, Professor Igor Vladimirovich Romanenko
Through the efforts of the staff of the department the existing educational-methodical and material-technical base of the department is created and developed for implementation at a high level of activity in pedagogical, clinical and scientific (scientific-practical) directions.
The first problem that arose was the shortage of staff. Of the faculty of the former university was only Dr. med. Ph.D., Professor Igor Vladimirovich Romanenko. In order to solve the personnel issue, the staff of the department includes highly qualified specialists in practical health care both in the field of primary health care and in neurology. So the staff of the department together with Dr. med. Ph.D., Professor Igor Vladimirovich Romanenko and Candidate of Medical Sciences. Ph.D., associate professor Lilia Kuzmina were:
Natalia Volodymyrivna Ivanovska - Head of the Polyclinic Department of the Rubizhne Central City Hospital - Assistant Professor,
Alla Oleksandrivna Rodionova - Deputy Chief Physician of the Rubizhne City Center for Primary Health Care - Assistant Professor,
Tetyana Rostislavivna Fronchko - pediatric neurologist of the polyclinic department of the Rubizhne Central City Hospital - assistant of the department,
Volodymyr Vasyliovych Andriychuk - Chief Physician of the Kreminsky District Center for Primary Health Care - Assistant Professor,
Oleksandr Mykolayovych Novytskyi - Head of the Neurological Department of the Kreminsky District Territorial Medical Association (Central District Hospital) - Assistant Professor,
Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Bevz - general practitioner / family medicine - assistant of the department,
Yuliya Anatoliivna Sachkovska - laboratory assistant of the department,
Anna Oleksandrivna Krasilnikova - laboratory assistant of the department,
Iryna Ryzhenko - laboratory assistant of the department,
Elizaveta Serhiivna Kiyashko is a laboratory assistant of the department.
From the first days in Rubizhne the department began to work focusing on scientific - practical and pedagogical areas. The school year began on February 2, 2015. The classrooms were the premises of the medical and diagnostic building of the Ozerny sanatorium in the Kreminsky district, and its dormitory became a dormitory. Those students of different courses who did not want to return to the occupied territory, or left there, formed a training contingent. Therefore, educational and methodological support had to be created from scratch and during the educational process. And here the second problem arose. All employees of the department, except for the head, had no pedagogical experience. Therefore, teachers studied together with students. In such extreme conditions the pedagogical skill of the young cathedral collective was formed. The department is located on the basis of the neurological department of Kreminsky RTMO, which became the clinical base. The third problem had its origins in the second - the lack of skills to create and work with teaching materials. The functions of the head of the department were performed by Assoc. Bevz OA, who came from practical medicine. During the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 academic years, a sufficient educational and methodological base was created, which fully met the requirements of the curriculum for specialist training, a departmental team of the most experienced specialists and industry leaders was formed and the clinical base expanded. The department has become a powerful stable educational unit capable of performing its tasks. The functions of the head of the department were performed by Assoc. Therefore, there was a need to create an appropriate department.
Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Vysotsky AA
Also, the reason for the formation of the department in such an organizational and educational format was a significant deterioration in the health of the head of the Department of Social Medicine, Management and Economics of Health, Ph.D., Associate Professor Anatoly Antonovich Vysotsky.
