Student scientific societies "Anatomicus" and "Universum" of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology are student organizations, each student of which has a unique opportunity for a more thorough and in-depth knowledge of the anatomy of the human body. Each member of the SNT actively works with the interactive board and anatomical models presented in the museum of the department. Also, all members of the society take an active part in the annual anatomical model competition, which provides an opportunity to gain practical skills while studying human anatomy.
The goal of SSС: to deepen the anatomical knowledge of gifted youth in the field of human anatomy and clinical anatomy, to attract students to scientific activities, to improve the quality of training and education of future specialists.
The main principles of work of the SSС of the Department of Anatomy and Physiology:
1) involvement of students in scientific work, its popularization among student youth;
2) creation of conditions for revealing the scientific and creative potential of students;
3) promotion of acquisition of theoretical knowledge and practical skills;
4) fostering the desire for professional self-improvement;
5) development and implementation of departmental and university-wide scientific projects and programs;
6) provision of conditions for students' participation in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in human anatomy.
