Project implementation started

The Erasmus+ KA2 LIFESTRAND project has started its active work in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

LIFESTRAND has brought together a consortium of 10 partners, including representatives from Ukraine, Georgia, Spain, and Portugal.

The Minister of Health of Galicia, Julio García Comasaña, welcomed the participants and noted that this project is extremely important for high-risk regions such as Ukraine and Georgia.

The university team consists of project coordinator Yuliia Lukash, senior trainers Olena Haidash and Khrystyna Vakhnovska, and project administrator Kseniia Shemiakina.

The project involves training trainers in first aid and psychological support in high-risk environments in Ukraine.

The trainings include a theoretical part divided into topics and a practical part at the Medical Simulation Center.

Part of the training will take place at the University of Santiago de Compostela in Spain and will continue at the University of Porto in Portugal.

Lugansk State Medical University is actively working on the development of European-level medicine in Ukraine.
