On December 19, 2023, the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 Lifestrand project took place between representatives of Georgia, Spain, Portugal and Ukraine, including the team of the State Institution “Luhansk State Medical University”.
The project aims to train and disseminate life-saving knowledge for higher education institutions and community representatives living in high-risk military areas in Ukraine and Georgia.
The Rector of the University, Professor Serhii Smirnov, made a welcoming speech and noted that this is a great opportunity for specialists and scientists from different countries not only to increase the degree of internationalization of higher education institutions, but also to exchange experience, new developments, achievements and discoveries in the medical field.
During the meeting, the details of the project implementation were discussed, a common logo was chosen, and further actions of the partners were determined.
We are confident that in the process of implementation we will be able to achieve the project goals, strengthen the capacity of academic staff to develop new teaching materials, gain knowledge and practical skills.
