The Trade Union Organization of Students of SE “LSMU” is a public organization that unites university students, the purpose of which is to represent, implement and protect the educational, social rights and interests of its members.
How to become a Trade Union member?
Any student of the university, who recognizes the Charter of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Ukraine, has submitted an application for membership and regularly pays union dues in the amount of 0.5% of the scholarship, can become a member of the Trade Union.
What does a member of the Trade Union Organization of Students of SE “LSMU” receive?
- financial assistance for treatment, in case of loss of a breadwinner, in connection with a difficult financial situation, the birth of a child, marriage, etc. once a year, provided that the student is a member of a trade union;
- participation in excursions, sports, cultural and mass events;
- opportunity to participate in student life and university management;
- assistance in settling into a hostel and eviction from it;
- protection in conflict situations with lecturers and university administration;
- control over the activities of catering establishments (canteens, cafeterias) of the university,
- constant awareness of the latest news of the university and students (information stands, websites, social networks);
- the possibility of self-realization in the commissions of the trade union organization
