Preparations for the opening of the Simulation Training Center at the State Establishment Lugansk State Medical University are in full force.
The Simulation Training Center will become not only a base for training students, but also for mastering the skills of medical staff.
To practice practical skills, the university has already purchased some simulators and mannequins, as well as special computerized simulation equipment, including a virtual patient.
This simulator is based on the role-playing principle, according to which the student feels like a doctor, makes check-ups, diagnoses and prescribes treatment, sees the consequences of his/her decisions and analyzes his/her actions.
This equipment was purchased with co-funding from the European Union under a grant agreement.
Every day Lugansk State Medical University improves its educational and material bases and works on the development of the medical sphere.
