On September 23, 2021 the head of the Academic Affairs Office of the State Establishment “Luhansk State Medical University” associate professor Anna Krasylnikova took part in the Forum of Quality of Higher Medical Education, which was held on the basis of the Private Institution of Higher Education “Kyiv International University”, organized by the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Testing Center at the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The purpose of the Forum was to identify challenges and problems, to discuss a common vision of real qualitative changes in higher education in the field of health care.
The program of the Forum included a discussion of real cases, presentation of international achievements, learning outcomes and methods of their measuring, problems of implementation of standards of higher education in medical specialties and other relevant issues.
The forum of quality of higher medical education was opened by S. Kvit, head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education. The plenary and panel sessions of the forum discussed the issues of medical education, prospects for accreditation of field 22 “Health”, best practices in the implementation of academic curricula, systems for measuring learning outcomes, problems and cases of accreditation of individual academic curricula.
The head of the Academic Affairs Office together with the academic community of the whole country joined the discussion of important issues of improving the quality of higher medical education.
