On October 12, 2021, the first stage of vaccination of foreign citizens was held on the territory of the State Establishment "Lugansk State Medical University", which was conducted by a portable team of physicians. This is the first time such an event has taken place at the university for citizens of foreign countries at the initiative of the rector, Professor Serhii Smirnov, with the support of the Department of Health of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
Before getting vaccinated, the employees of the portable team conducted an initial medical examination - measured the temperature, asked about health, the presence of chronic diseases, allergies and more. After completing all the documents, the vaccination process took place. AstraZeneca vaccine was used for vaccination.
The administration of the institution asks the applicants to be responsible and calls on everyone to be vaccinated.
