On July 1, 2021, a solemn event dedicated to the graduation of applicants for higher education in 2021 of the Faculty of Training of Foreign Citizens of the State Institution "Luhansk State Medical University" took place in the Great Hall of the ICU "Palace of Culture" in Rubizhne.
This year, about 270 graduates from around the world completed their studies . This is one of the largest graduates in the history of the Medical University after it moved to the city of Rubizhne.
The graduation ceremony began traditionally with the official part and a festive concert prepared by the creative team of the Palace of Culture.
The ceremony was opened by Acting Rector of the State Institution "Luhansk State Medical University", Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Honored Health Worker of Ukraine, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Professor Alexander Gudzenko.
Serhiy Hortiv , Chairman of the Rubizhne City Council, addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech ; Adviser to the Rector of the Luhansk State Medical University Anton Smirnov ; President of the Academic Service Group Maxim Mirzebasov . The head of the Islamic Cultural Center, Imam Timur Beridze, also attended the ceremony .
People's Deputies of Ukraine Serhiy Shakhov, Serhiy Velmozhny and Oleksandr Sukhov also congratulated the graduates . On behalf of the people's deputies, the Chairman of the Nash Krai deputy faction of the Rubizhne City Council Dmytro Konov presented a laptop and a printer for the school and wished the young doctors good luck on the way to their goals!
Teachers who received diplomas from their students were not left without warm words.
The final gift for the graduates was a photo shoot in robes. The holiday is over, but the joyful mood will be remembered for a long time by all who attended the event.
