There is a student scientific circle at the department. Forms of meetings are various: preparation, listening and discussion of reports, viewing and analysis of videos, analysis of novelties of linguistic and fiction literature, solving and compiling linguistic and literary problems, staging works of fiction, preparation and holding of literary and linguistic holidays, scientific conferences , issue of thematic wall newspapers.
Students trained by the teachers of the department traditionally take part in International and All-Ukrainian Linguistic Olympiads and competitions and win prizes in regional competitions in Ukrainian language and literature.
Employees of the department are convinced that for the harmonious development of personality is important not only a high level of teaching, but also continuous educational work with students.
