One of the priority areas of the Department of Humanities was and remains educational work, which is given considerable attention. The staff of the department holds various events.

   On October 18, 2017, first- and second-year students of LSMU joined the Stop Violence campaign organized by the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine. The purpose of this campaign is to provide people affected by the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine with the opportunity to protect themselves from gender-based violence, as well as to receive quality reproductive health services.

   The head of the mobile team of social and psychological assistance of the UN Population Fund in Ukraine Kolodochka Diana Volodymyrivna and practical psychologist Shifman Yuliya Mykolayivna in a sincere conversation gave valuable advice to students on how to act in a crisis situation and possible help to a person in need.

  On November 16, the world community celebrated World Philosophy Day.

   UNESCO launched this day to draw humanity to the richness of philosophical thought, to bring new ideas into everyday thinking, and to stimulate public debate among intellectuals and civil society over the challenges facing people and the world today.

   Teachers of the department conducted a conversation with first-year students (group 10f) on the topic "What is philosophy for me?". Young people are involved in the beautiful and mysterious world of philosophy.

  Meeting a creative person in the midst of a whirlwind of life events is like immersion in a pure source, a touch of thought, peace, silence… indifference…

  Lviv writer Victoria Amelina, as part of her trip to Eastern Ukraine, presented her new novel "House for Home" (Old Lion Publishing House), which belongs to modern Ukrainian intellectual prose. Students of LDMU had the opportunity to communicate with the writer.

To the 295th anniversary of G. Skovoroda's birth, a competition for the best abstract was held at the department.

According to the results of the competition, the jury determined the first-year student Miroshnichenko Tetyana (group 6).

 

 

On March 15, 2018, the country celebrated the 155th anniversary of V. Vernadsky's birth. In order to study and popularize the scientific ideas of the genius in the discipline "Philosophy" for first-year students of the medical faculty was held a thematic seminar.

  The department pays considerable attention to the patriotic education of future doctors and pharmacists, so in 2017-2018 academic year. patriotic events were held:

 008 In accordance with the Concept of national-patriotic education of children and youth and to implement the Action Plan to honor the heroism of the Revolution of Dignity and perpetuate the memory of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and ATO heroes, the department created a stand reflecting the heroism of Heavenly Hundred and heroes of Ukraine anti-terrorist operation, who gave their lives defending human rights and freedoms, defending the ideals of democracy and the integrity of Ukraine.

 

 

 

  On the occasion of the anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy, on April 26 in Rubizhne near the Memorial sign "Victims of the Chornobyl disaster" a requiem rally was held with the participation of students of LDMU (I course gr. 8c).

   At the end of the rally, our students and participants laid flowers to the memorial, and also had the opportunity to communicate with the liquidators of the disaster - residents of Rubizhne.

   On the same day at the Department of Humanities, first-year students of 8 c gave a presentation on the occasion of a sad date.

  On the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation and the 73rd anniversary of the victory over Nazism in World War II, second-year students (groups 9-10 m) of our university together with teachers of the department visited the Privilnyansky bridgehead.

   In May 2018, first and second year students of Luhansk State Medical University together with teachers of our department took part in the regional seminar "Ukraine - NATO: security formula" on the problems of our country's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance.

   On the occasion of Europe Day in Luhansk region, events were held at our university to explain the importance of implementing the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, spreading European values ​​and raising awareness of Ukrainians about the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU.

   Thus, on May 15, 2018, teachers of the Department of Humanities for first and second year students of LSMU held a lecture-discussion "The European Union: the family of democratic European states", through which students were able to test and improve knowledge about the European Union and relations Ukraine - EU.

   On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Luhansk region and the World Embroidery Day on May 17, 2018 at the V. Dahl East Ukrainian University (Severodonetsk) the results of the competition of creative works "Embroidery with your own hands" were summed up. Second-year students (1m group) of LDMU State University Aviltseva Anastasia and Tkachenko Anastasia won the second place in the nomination "Panels, quilling and paintings".

   On May 22, 2018, a meeting of the management of the institution, teachers and students with military doctors - members of the ATO took place in the assembly hall of the State Medical University.

   A moment of silence was observed in honor of the soldiers of the 30th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who gave their lives 4 years ago during a ruthless battle near the railway station in Rubizhne.
