In 2009 he graduated from Luhansk State Medical University with a degree in Medical Affairs, qualification "Doctor".
From 2009 to 2011 he studied in an internship at the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and after graduation received a certificate of a specialist in "Forensic Medicine".
Since 2015 he has been working at Luhansk State Medical University as an assistant. In 2016 he defended his dissertation on the topic: "Pathogenetic substantiation of the age of damage to the digestive tract in mechanical trauma" in the specialty 14.03.04 - pathological physiology.
He is the author of more than 30 scientific works, including the scientometric database Scopus ("Dynamics of histological changes in traumatized liver tissues in the absence of alcohol intoxication"), published after the defense of the dissertation; author of 2 monographs: "Diagnosis of injuries of the digestive tract in mechanical trauma" and "Morphology of injuries of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space in mechanical trauma" 2018. Has a patent for a utility model "Method for determining the age of pancreatic injuries."
Since 2018 - Associate Professor of Pathological Morphology, Forensic Medicine with Medical Legislation. He teaches the disciplines "Pathomorphology", "Forensic Medicine with Medical Legislation" and "Sectional Course" at the Faculty of Medicine.
Korobko Ihor Serhiiovych in 2019 successfully passed an international internship at the Medical University of Lublin (Poland), has a certificate in accordance with the European Recommendation on Language Education - English at B2 level.
