Lugansk State Medical University has its own campus surrounded with recreation territory of about 70466 sq. m. The University posses 5 hostels with the total area of 28431 sq. m. for accommodation of 2220 students.

The University provides guaranteed accommodation placement services to all international students who receive an academic offer. There are several accommodation options for international students and it is important to consider whether you prefer an independent lifestyle or enjoy living in a community.

Living in a hostel you’ll combine the convenience of living near academic buildings, the access to programs and services which help you develop academically, the opportunity to build lasting friendship relations, and comfortable, affordable living. The territory of the University and the main students’ routes from the hostels to the educational buildings are protected and patrolled by officers of guard service.

Hostel No.5 is provided with the free internet facility. Students can use a laptop, a wi-fi phone or other suitable portable devices to access the wireless internet connection provided.

Most of the hostel rooms can accommodate 2 or 3 students. All rooms are furnished with a bed, a desk, a chair, cold and hot running water, central heating and suitable lighting for both study and relaxation.

There are common areas where students can play and mingle.

In the hostel each room is attached with the kitchen suitable for students to cook food of their own taste. Students will need to supply their kitchen utensils. Meals and provisions may be bought from various shops and supermarkets.

Our hostels feature 24-hour access to security and emergency, making it easy to get assistance when you need it. As a campus resident, you also have access to all the LSMU support services, such as campus health services.

If you take a room, we’ll ask you to sign a contract for the whole academic course. The contract commits you to rent your room until the end of the course and to follow our basic regulations. These are to ensure that everyone can live together happily and safely, so include such things as no noise after 11 p.m. and showing consideration to others.

Off-campus housing can be obtained in nearby apartments. Available apartments and houses are furnished and vary in size, number of conveniences and cost.
